FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association – Omaha and Des Moines Chapter
Our Chapter of the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBICAAA) is a private, non-profit organization with a goal to engage the communities we serve to develop relationships and partnerships that can help prevent crime. We use a variety of programs and tools to interact with the community and work together to address these challenges.
Community Outreach Program
We seek to engage the community by working together to prevent crime and terrorism, and help create safe neighborhoods.
The Citizen’s Academy is an 8-session long program that provides community leaders with an inside look at the structure and operations of the FBI.
FBICAAA-Omaha & Des Moines Chapter
The FBICAAA is a community based organization distinct and separate from the FBI. The FBICAAA promotes a safer community through service projects and education.
The Different Things We Do
Our community outreach thrives off of events, projects, and programs. Through these avenues we are able to engage the community and help create safer neighborhoods.
You can volunteer for one of our committees, take part in our charity events, or volunteer at any of our community service events. Our next event is our annual golf tournament in support of the Memorial College Education Fund.
Our annual banquet recognizes outstanding members of their community. People who devote time and resources to truly embody their community and go out of their way to assist worthy causes.
With various chapters across the nation we like to bring in speakers, give presentations, and share knowledge and experiences. All in an effort to promote safer communities.
The FBI tirelessly combats the dangers found in cyberspace in an effort to make our children safer. The FBICAAA offers presentations to create awareness and reduce the risks of crimes being committed.
Throughout the 8 week program participants learn more about our mission and methods. This is through presentations given by FBI executives, senior special agents, and program managers. We work together to protect the community.
